2006 Two Hands - Shiraz Heathcote "Max's Garden" Opaque purple-colored, it has an enticing nose of violets, mulberry, plum, and blackberry. 1990 Hermitage La Chapelle, Jean Louis Chave – 1990 is the Hermitage appellation's greatest vintage since 1978, and maybe since 1961. 10. JOHN MORAN SCALLOP FRAMED PHOTOGRAPH AND A MONTES PURPLE ANGEL Renowned Gainesville and Florida photographer John Moran has captured the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast Scallop. Paired with 2007 Montes Purple Angel from Chile. "The 2007 Purple Angel is a blend of Carmenere and Petit Verdot that might be the only competition for Terrunyo's Carmin de Peumo for top Carmenere-based wine in Chile. 11. AN EXTRAORDINARY RIOJA
2004 Finca Allende Calvario Rioja - The 2004 Calvario is round, ripe, and complex. This lush, pleasure-bent wine will benefit from several more years of bottle age and will offer prime drinking from 2014 to 2029. Allende's Calvario cuvee is typically 90% old-vine Tempranillo and the balance Garnacha and Graciano sourced from the vineyard of the same name planted in 1945. The wine is aged in new French oak for 16 months and bottled without filtration. Robert Parker - 94 pts.

Storybook 2005 Zinfandel Estate Reserve - "The dark, glass-coating pomegranate color shows off its power, the vibrant edge mirrors the glint of the wine's mineral tannins. Storybook Zinfandel Eastern Exposures Vineyard 2003 - Richly aromatic and very balanced on the palate, this is a Zin to please Cabernet lovers and hardened Zinaphiles alike.
Storybook Antaeus 2004: "59% Zinfandel; 21% Cabernet Sauvignon; 15% Merlot; 5% Petit Verdot. Although there are touches of chocolate to the deep, well-defined and gracefully oaked aromas of this successful proprietary blend, there is nothing extreme about the wine's ripeness at any point. Its juicy, deeply drawn, blackberry flavors are decked out with sweet oak and spice, and its ample fruit carries into a long, tannin-firmed finish." Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine - 92 pts.
Storybook Antaeus 2006 - Given its unconventional varietal mix, one should not be surprised that this bottling travels to the beat of its own drum. There is a fine sense of Zinfandel at its heart, with complex notes of currants, briar, sweet oak and peppery spice that are well-mated to its first-rate fruit. Big-bodied and impressively balanced, it sports a fair bit of carefully placed tannin, and it is guaranteed to get better for years to come. Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine – 93 pts.

1997 Pine Ridge Stag's Leap Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - "The dense ruby/purple-colored 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Stag's Leap offers red and black currants intertwined with gravelly, vanilla notes. "A good, rich and complex Bordeaux blend, with ripe fruit and plenty of smoky new oak, but also very tannic. 18. FOUR SPANISH WINS FROM THE FAMED 2004 VINTAGE
Vina Pomal - Ruby with slight russet hues from aging. Nose: Clean, intense aromas. Dominant notes of red fruit intermingled with notes from aging: tobacco, truffle and vanilla. Mouthfeel: Good concentration with a long finish. With body and good acidity, characteristic of Tempranillos from the Rioja Alta region. Montecastro Rubero del Duero The fabulous 2004 raises the bar even higher than the 2003. The perfume is even more expressive, the palate broader, richer, and more concentrated, and the finish goes on for over one minute. It should be cellared for 4–6 years and should drink well through 2032. Robert Parker – 94 pts Torres Mas La Plana Black Label - Miguel Torres is one of Spain's most influential winemakers and his efforts in Penedès illustrate the depths of his talents. Torres Mas La Plana is one of the best-known single-estate wines in Spain. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, Mas La Plana's claims to fame began when it was chosen over a group of prestigious European wines for the top prize in the 1979 Paris Wine Olympiad. Murat Vino de la Tierra Ribera del Jiloca - Medium red. Expressive, fresh scents of raspberry, wild strawberry and red currant. Juicy and sweet, the red berry flavors showing excellent purity and freshness; acids are brisk but not sharp, bringing good lift. Finishes juicy and long, with a light touch of tasty strawberry and raspberry flavors.

19. TRIO OF ZINFANDELS
1980 Cordtz Brothers Cellars - David Cordtz's experience includes 17 years as an international award-winning commercial winemaker and nationally acclaimed hard cider maker. During his tenure as a winemaker, he won over 150 gold medals nationally as well as a gold medal from the prestigious de l' Office International De La Vigne Et Du Vin of France in 1984 for his 1980 Cordtz Brothers Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. 20. STERLING VINYEARDS CABS FOR YOUR COLLECTION
2001 Sterling Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Deep ruby in color, with concentrated jammy fruit aromas of blackberry and cassis. The wine has a big, rich, soft, albeit slightly chalky mouthfeel, with medium full body and a long vanilla flavored finish. 1997 Sterling Cabernet Sauvignon – California's Napa Valley has been a source of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon for well over a century. The warm climate and varied terrain allows for many styles of wine. 21. TRIO OF RAVENSWOOD SINGLE VINEYARD ZINFANDELS
2002 Barrica Vineyard Dry-farmed and low-yielding vines produce intensely flavorful grapes. Unique plum spice supported by fine, ripe tannins. 2004 Belloni Vineyard 75% Zinfandel with a 25% field blend of Petite Sirah, Alicante and Carignane. The 2004 is distinguished by its intense black fruit flavors—a characteristic achieved by the co-fermentation of Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Syrah and Alicante Bouchet grapes. Layers of boysenberry, plum, currant, allspice, and vanilla flavors are wonderfully integrated with smooth, lingering tannins. A vibrant wine with terrific life and sweetness in the mouth. Only 740 cases produced. 2006 Old Hill Ranch A longtime favorite among hard-core Ravenswood fans, the Old Hill vineyard was planted in the 1880`s in the Valley of the Moon, just north of the town of Sonoma. This vineyard is like your most comfortable pair of old shoes - unparalleled. It is wonderfully consistent, from year to year, in its ability to please even the most discriminating palate.

1996 Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon This is a beautiful deep purple and ruby colored wine with incredible depth and flavor. While the nose is complex, with blackberry and plum fruit, spice and notes of cedar in the background; on the palate, the wine spills over with rich blackberry and cherry fruit flavors and cassis. 1999 Arrowood Merlot The rich palate is of intense black cherries and plums, with a slight spice and toasty oak finish.

Two bottles of the 1996 Clos Quebrada de Macul Vineyard, Maipo, Chile - With the characteristic aroma of the Macul zone combined with hints of black currant, menthol, chocolate, pepper and licorice, each of these wines has something very special to offer. Domus Aurea, by Viña Quebrada de Macul, is 96 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 4 percent Merlot and Petit Verdot, from 30-year-old vines. The fruit is grown on a 35-acre parcel in the Andes foothills bordering the Maipo Valley, east of Santiago.

Spectacular aromatics offer up aromas of incense, smoke, blackberry fruit, cassis, barbecue spice, coffee, and a touch of chocolate. As it sits in the glass, additional nuances of pepper and grilled steak emerge.
