Gainesville Honors 9/11 Victims With Service, Good Deeds

In 2009, Congress named Sept. 11 a National Day of Service and Remembrance to honor the victims of that infamous day. The bipartisan decision encouraged people to take action, and on Wednesday, the tradition continued in Gainesville.

Religious groups unite to show support for 9/11 victims

Judaism, Christianity, Islam and several other faith leaders gathered at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church to remember the victims of 9/11 The leaders spoke about change and interfaith unity.
