World War II veterans will get to visit the National World War II Memorial on Saturday despite the government shutdown.

The University of Florida’s Collegiate Veterans Success Center will open April 2 with an open house and resource fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The space will be a spot for student veterans to hang out, study and support each other.
