High Springs Library Wraps Up $1.5M Renovation

Shaney Livingston, the High Springs Library Director, holds a check at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the branch's newly renovated library Saturday. The check, from Alachua County Library District Foundation, helped fund a portion of the city's renovated library.

After nearly six months of renovations, the branch added 3,200 square feet to their 5,000 square-foot location, doubled the amount of parking spots and created a larger meeting room and two more study rooms. Renovations for the Tower Road location are expected to start in January.
