Students vote on referendum to change name of Reitz Union

Students at the University of Florida have the opportunity to vote on behalf of a name change for the J. Reitz Student Union. The referendum students are voting on suggests a change in the name to instead honor Vigil Hawkins, an African American who helped to end segregation at UF.

University of Florida classes to be available on free course website

Coursera, a growing Internet class website, could offer University of Florida classes beginning in spring 2013. Nearly 20 other universities nationwide utilize the program.
