Residential parking permits in Gainesville may see a sharp price increase. City Commissioners are discussing a change in price because of space shortages. The process for buying permits may change, too.
New Wal-Mart Super Center opens in Gainesville

A new Wal-Mart Super Center has opened in Gainesville on Northwest 23rd Street. With the new store’s opening, the Wal-Mart on Northwest 13th Street, which was open for 30 years, closed.
City golf course hoping to find new management
