Repeal of ‘stand your ground’ must survive trip through original co-sponsor’s committee

Florida Rep. Alan Williams proposed a bill last week that if passed would repeal the law that received a lot of attention after the killing of Treyvon Martin almost a year ago. Williams believes the law has failed. The repeal of the law will have to go through the House Judiciary Committee charied by Rep. Dennis Baxley, an original co-sponsor of the law.
