UF Dream Defenders will stay at the Capital until their demands for a repeal of Florida’s “stand your ground” law are met, even though Gov. Rick Scott’s refused to call a special session.

Although Attorney General Eric Holder is taking a stand against “stand your ground” law, other lawmakers, including Rep. Dennis Baxley, believe it is an important law and should remain unchanged.
