The College Board, creator of the SAT, released a report stating only 43 percent of graduating high school students are ready for college-level course work.

SAT scores in Alachua County second-highest in state

Alachua County schools rose in rankings this year, coming in second to Washington County, whose eight students who took the SAT, had the highest overall average score.
