The District 21 state house race in Florida offers Republican incumbent Keith Perry and Democratic newcomer Andrew Morey. Both candidates have a Florida background and based their careers outside politics in Alachua County.

Democrat Will Mazzota, a University of Florida student, and Republican Rob Bradley, a lawyer from Clay County are vying for the District 7 senate seat in the 2012 election. The majority of voters slated to vote in the Florida senate District 7 race are Republicans, but the candidates said they are both campaigning the best they can.

Bush, eldest son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush spoke about Maverick PAC, a political action committee focused on engaging a new generation of Republican leaders.
