The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Casey Brooke West, 26, and Ayla Susan Tillander, 27, both of Ocala.

Kelvin Lee Coleman, 37, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to a press release by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Gainesville man arrested in connection with baby’s death

Detectives arrested a man on first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse charges Friday. According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office press release, Jeremy James Murray, 29, was arrested on charges of the death of his 6-week-old daughter, Ember Murray.
Skeletal remains found in Ocala

A skeleton was discovered in a tent in Ocala Sunday night. The remains give no indication as to what happened, authorities said.

Two Citra men fled when they saw Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies, who were following up on a previous case. The deputies searched the house and found methamphetamine and other illegal drugs, as well as a liquid gas generator.

A suspicious package containing a unknown powder was sent to the Marion County Sheriff’s office, and contained a written threat to Sheriff Chris Blair. The powder is now being tested.
