Marion County board approves FedEx Ground hub

The Marion County Board of County Commisioners approved a plan to finance a FedEx Ground hub in Ocala. The Ocala City Council is still in discussion about its part of the plan.

Marion County officials discuss possible FedEx hub

FedEx and the Ocala Board of Commissioners are discussing details of a potential FedEx hub that would be constructed in Ocala. The site for the project is a park located along Interstate 75.

North Central Florida voters say ‘no’ to two taxes

Alachua County voters rejected the “Fix our Roads” tax by 67 percent. In Marion County, voters decided against a hospital tax that would increase property taxes to fund Munroe Regional Medical Center.
