FDOT Grants Citrus County $1.5 Million to Make Curvy Roads Safer

Citrus County has been selected by the Florida Department of Transportation to receive a $1.5-million grant to improve safety on curvy county roads. The improvements will be installed this summer.

Alachua County Schools Receive Competitive Counseling Grant

Alachua County is one of 35 counties in the country to receive a competitive counseling grant of about $1 million for Project Fortify. The money will provide additional social workers and psychologists to four elementary schools in the school district.

$1.08 Million Federal Grant Will Map North Florida Sinkhole Risk Areas
