Not all counties are complying with a recent Florida law that requires animal shelter adoption, intake and euthanasia information to be accessible to the public. Under the current law, there are no penalties for not making the information public.

About 10,000 additional Suwannee acres designated for recreational hunting

The Suwannee River Water Managment District has added nearly 10,000 acres for public hunting. Deer, hog, turkey and small game hunting is available on these and other District lands from September to April.
