DOC Partners with National Guard, Hires Military Personnel

The Florida Department of Corrections partnered with the Florida National Guard to hire veterans and military personnel who are unemployed. These specialty hiring events last all day and are open to all branches in the Florida National Guard and Reserves.

Marion County Public School Students Honor Veterans

Fallen Army Veteran Lives On Through Keystone Heights Football Team

Jon Anderson can’t run like he used to. The 66-year-old Vietnam veteran has been running marathons since 1976 and ultra marathons since 2003. But in 2008, Anderson stopped running, four years after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
