The ballet “Rite of Spring” comes to UF on Saturday

The University of Florida Orchestra together with Dance Alive National Ballet bring the ballet “Rite of Spring” to the M. Curtis Phillips Center Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the centennial anniversary of this masterpiece.

Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and Nobel Prize-winning author of “Night,” spoke to a crowd of over 1,500 at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Tuesday night. He discussed humanity, the difficulty of writing his famous memoir and his love of learning.
