The Couple That Gave Up Their Home To Serve the Homeless

Ken and Wendy Kebrdle left the American dream behind to help the homeless in Ocala. After serving as missionaries in Romania, they began holding training classes at churches to teach members about relationally-driven service as a substitute for handouts.

Gainesville Honors 9/11 Victims With Service, Good Deeds

In 2009, Congress named Sept. 11 a National Day of Service and Remembrance to honor the victims of that infamous day. The bipartisan decision encouraged people to take action, and on Wednesday, the tradition continued in Gainesville.
