As the Halloween season creeps forward, some schools are choosing to include Halloween themes in students’ lesson plans. However, for Putnam and Columbia County, school districts are focusing on keeping the themes in line with lesson plans.

Southside Recreation Complex Adds New Amenities

The Southside Recreation Complex in Lake City will complete the first phase of a $2.9 million renovation project this week. The renovations include new bleachers, concession stands, walkways, restrooms and refurbished softball fields.

$1.08 Million Federal Grant Will Map North Florida Sinkhole Risk Areas
