The fossil remains of a 40-foot species of crocodile nicknamed “Turtle Chomper” arrived at the Florida Museum of Natural History Friday.

Giant snake fossils come to UF museum

A giant snake fossil, named Titanoboa, will be on exhibit starting Jan. 26. The fossil comes from Colombia and was discovered in part by University of Florida researchers.
