Homeowners Frustrated By Increase In Flood Insurance Rates

An increase in flood insurance went into effect Tuesday, but many Floridians are still voicing their distaste for the new law. The National Flood Insurance wants to collect more from those who it said have been underpaying to bring down their $24 billion deficit.

Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office will move within the year

Six proposals for the new location of the Supervisor of Elections Office are under review in Alachua County. The office will move within the year.
