Ocala Fire Rescue, Salvation Army collect winter clothing for homeless residents

Recent cold weather has posed challenges for homeless residents faced with the colder temperatures. In response, the Ocala Fire Rescue and the Salvation Army have organized a clothing drive that ends Thursday.

Incoming cold front could mean more severe smoke conditions

Wildfires in North Central Florida continue to burn with the County Line fire causing most area smoke.  Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Michael Cadigan says the haze is causing problems along area roadways.
