Marion County Set to Change Cyberbullying Prevention Policy

Marion County public schools have updated the 2014-2015 Code of Conduct. It now includes a way for administrators to address cyberbullying cases that occur off campus.

‘Embrace your differences,’ says 14-year-old author with genetic condition

Isabelle Hadala was born with ectodermal dysplasia, a genetic condition known as “lobster claw syndrome” that affected the development of her teeth, fingers and toes. She spoke to an audience of 500 people at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville on March 3.

Florida House bill introduced that would prohibit cyberbullying

A bill prohibiting cyberbullying will be introduced to the house Wednesday. Co-sponsor of the bill Rep. Mike Fasano said the bill would leave punishment for cyberbullying up to each school board instead of law enforcement.
