According to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, some charities spend as much as 99 percent of funds raised to help fulfill their mission statement while others funnel the same portion into administration costs.

Community Foundation Receives $500,000 Donation For New Facility

The Community Foundation of North Central Florida will construct new facility with the support of a $500,000 donation. The foundation will have a permanent space after 15 years of serving the Gainesville community.
