Downtown Festival Expected to Draw Diverse Artwork Because of Nationwide Acclaim

This weekend’s 32nd annual Downtown Festival and Art Show in Gainesville climbed into the number-10 spot on Sunshine Artist magazine’s “200 Best” list of fine arts festivals, moving up three spaces from last year.

Where To Donate Clothes For Gainesville Homeless As Temperatures Drop

Jest Fest!, a celebration of merriment, begins in April

Jest Fest!, a monthlong event featuring jugglers, jokesters, magicians and acrobats, will begin April 6. Gainesville’s Parks and Recreation Cultural Affairs Department is bringing a host of variety acts to Bo Diddley Community Plaza for the entire month of April. All events are free and open to the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
