In a recent study published by AAA, drivers reported to using cellphones in the car despite knowing of the safety risks involved. Florida is one of the few states that does not ban texting and driving and a AAA director said drivers are often overconfident in their texting and driving habits.
Average Florida gas price drops eight cents

Wallets may feel heavier this week as gas prices continue to fall. Florida’s average gas price is $3.63 per gallon, an eight-cent decrease from last week, said AAA Spokeswoman Jessica Brady.
