Scott visits GHS, touts raise for teachers – Gov. Rick Scott visited Gainesville High School Thursday to meet with students and school officials. RTS partners with ASL to provide free DVDs – Regional Transit System partnered with American Sign Language to provide free DVDs and pamphlets to all deaf and hard of hearing residents every Thursday at the Rosa Parks Downtown Station. ASL representatives will be at the station from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The DVDs are acted in sign language with Bible-based messages that can apply to people with different beliefs and religions.
