UF Law Professor Comments On Police Collecting DNA Samples In Relation To UF Assaults

Jon Mills, UF professor of law and an expert on privacy, comments on the rights of the men UFPD and GPD have questioned and swabbed for DNA. The individuals matched the description of the suspect believed to be responsible for at least three assaults on or near the UF campus.

Wanted Man Arrested At Red Roof Inn

Kody Carr was arrested at Red Roof Inn in Gainesville on Sunday night. The Dixie County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Gainesville Police Department, which was also seeking the suspect for recent burglaries.
