McDonald’s Banner Plane Crashes At UF’s Flavet Field Before UF-Arkansas Game

A plane crashed behind the University of Florida’s Flavet Field on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Multiple witnesses at the scene say the crash was quiet, likely indicating a low fuel issue. After the crash, all were reported safe, including the pilot.

Updated: UF’s Plagued Citrus Trees Finally Removed

A plan to remove plagued citrus trees from the University of Florida is temporarily halted after a committee in charge bypassed university approval. Six to eight of the infected citrus trees have already been removed by UF’s Physical Plant Division.
