Students for Concealed Carry at the University of Florida is organizing its third annual empty holster protest, where members wear gun holsters without weapons in them to protest the concealed carry ban on campus.
Senate Judiciary Committee approves Florida bill that bans texting while driving

Florida is one of five states without texting restrictions for drivers. The Senate’s current bill makes the use of wireless communication devices behind the weheel a secondary offense, with emergency and GPS navigation use exceptions.
