Four Corners Cops Without Borders agreement renewed

The Four Corners Cops Without Borders, an agreement among sheriffs allowing cross-county jurisdiction among Alachua, Bradford, Clay and Putnam counties, was renewed Tuesday.

A Texas country musician crashed an SUV into a semi-trailer in Ocala early Tuesday morning and has cancelled shows in Louisville, Ken., and Scheller, Ill.

Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and Nobel Prize-winning author of “Night,” spoke to a crowd of over 1,500 at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Tuesday night. He discussed humanity, the difficulty of writing his famous memoir and his love of learning.
