A 74-year-old man is now facing life-threatening injuries after rear-ending a Regional Transit Bus early Wednesday morning.

The Gainesville Police Department arrested a man on an attempted murder charge Tuesday night after a dispute resulted in a grazing gunshot wound, according to GPD spokesperson Ben Tobias.

Shark attacks increase in US

There were 53 total shark attacks reported in the United States, which is the highest number since 2000, according to the Univesrity of Florida’s International Shark Attack File report released on Monday.
