Arrests Made After Shoplifting Suspects Lead Chase Near Butler Plaza

Two shoplifters at Kohl’s department store have been arrested for strong-arm robbery after police said they beat a Kohl’s employee who chased them through Butler Plaza and surrounding apartment complexes.

SAT report shows less high school students ready for college

The College Board, creator of the SAT, released a report stating only 43 percent of graduating high school students are ready for college-level course work.

Suwannee, Santa Fe Rivers Flooding Takes Toll On Riverside Structures

Recent flooding of the Suwannee and Santa Fe rivers, in part caused by heavy rainfall, have forced some tubing and canoeing businesses to shutter, residents to evacuate and caused damage to riverside properties.
