UF surgeons, particle engineers receive federal grants to research breast cancer treatments

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a University of Florida surgeon and the College of Engineering with a grant to do additional research on breast cancer treatments that may eliminate the need for radiation. Denise Burgess reports.
