New Agriculture Facility In Archer Will Increase Conservation Efforts

Seventy-four acres of land in Archer will be used as the site for a new agriculture facility. The facility will offer recreational activities for Archer residents and surrounding areas as well as wildlife conservation.

Santa Fe College Students May Get Free Two-Year Tuition

President Obama announced on Thursday a plan to provide community college students with two free years of tuition. Nine million students could take advantage of this opportunity if the legislation passes.

Coal Train Derailed in Dunnellon

Back and forth over wage theft ordinance issue continues

The Alachua County Wage Theft Task Force held a press conference Thursday to urge State Sen. Rob Bradley to reconsider sponsoring a bill which would block all anti-wage theft ordinances, including those for Alachua County.
