  • The comments of an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputy has raised questions of whether Mayor Craig Lowe was given special treatment the night he was arrested.
  • Construction of a new UF residence hall, which would house 250 students, may begin in the Fall. It would be located near Yulee and Reid halls.
  • Men are posing as Gainesville Regional Utilities representatives and scamming Gainesville residents. They demand money from home owners for overdue payments.
  • Two former Shands employees have been accused of selling patient information including names, addresses and Social Security numbers.
