  • Paraplegic Biker, Rich Dixon, left Gainesville this morning to continue his Florida cycling tour. Dixon is hand cycling to promote awareness for Convoy of Hope, an organization dedicated to feeding impoverished children.
  • A Florida task force concluded the “stand your ground” law should not be overturned.
  • The Academy Awards sends Ben Affleck home with three Oscars, including Best Picture.
  • Ikea recalls frozen food sold in several European countries after Czech Republic officials reported horse meat in the company’s frozen meatballs.
  • KFC launches new ad campaign in China to rectify its image after a scandal involving the misuse of animal antibiotics.
