Bomb squad clears suspicious bag threat

Traffic was closed for 45 minutes at the intersection of University Avenue and SW 34th Street after the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office bomb team investigated a suspicious bag and cleared the threat, according to Gainesville Police Department spokesman Ben Tobias.
