In an age where nearly everything people consume and enjoy comes off the factory line, it’s rare to find something made by hand.  Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Chris Gilmore met with Gainesville violin maker Jan van Rooyen on the blind beauty of sound and his journey from the streets of South Africa to the suburbs of Gainesville.
