The US Department of Agriculture says one in five Alachua county residents struggles to buy food. The agency also says one in four children face hunger regularly. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Stephanie Denardo says one of Gainesville’s largest food banks is tackling this problem head on.
