Congressman Stearns addresses job opportunities while touring UF Innovation Hub

Congressman Cliff Stearns toured the University of Florida Innovation Hub earlier today. The building opened in October of 2011. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT’s Tershone Phillips spoke with Sixth Congressional District Congressman Cliff Stearns about how growing job opportunities around the area can help create a sector around the University of Florida.

Steamers Makes A Comeback, Opening In Bo Diddley Plaza

Four years after it closed, Steamers restaurant is back again with a new location. Owner Artie Guy is bringing the restaurant back to Gainesville in Bo Diddley Plaza. Set for an opening in May, the dining place will be in a central hub amid plaza renovations.
