Oral health problems consistently rank among the most untreat health issues in the nation, and in Florida that need is higher than most states. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT FM’s Dina Lewis tells us how the Alachua County’s Oral Health Coalition is working to create a better oral health future for Alachua County residents.

Asbestos Still Present In Public, Private Buildings In Alachua County

Asbestos, a product previously used in building and insulating for buildings, is still found today in older buildings that have not yet been renovated. If disturbed, that asbestos can cause major health problems for Alachua County residents.
