Alachua County Commissioner Rodney Long announced his retirement yesterday almost a year earlier than expected.  Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Shannon McCarthy reports on how this could change the political make up of the Commission.

Seminole County commissioners approved a resolution Tuesday asking the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to reinstate a ban on bear hunting in Florida.
