Gainesville biz owners encourage local holiday shopping to help area economy

The holiday season is upon us and that means Americans will be spending more than usual. Where consumers decide to spend their money can have an impact on their community. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Shannon McCarthy reports, consumers should weigh their options before taking out their checkbooks.
