Newberry city leaders to discuss Alachua County Fairgrounds issue tonight

Newberry commissioners say they’re ready to reconsider their bid to move the Alachua County fairgrounds from east Gainesville to the Canterbury Shoplace equestrian park. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Katerina Sardi spoke with Newberry Mayor Bill Conrad about the reason behind the changing mood.

The Newberry City Commission will meet tonight starting at six for a workshop followed by the general meeting at 7 p.m.
