Gator Growl: from yester year to 2011


The notoriously spirited students and alumni of the University of Florida are celebrating Homecoming this week. This year’s festivities will begin tomorrow with the 88th annual Gator Growl. This year the Goo Goo doll’s and comedian Jole McHale will be entertaining the crowds, but as Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Shannon McCarthy reports, Gator Growls in the past have not been so extravagant.
