Gainesville Regional Transit System has received a $9 million grant to improve maintenance facilities.  Congresswoman Corrine Brown, Gainesville Mayor Craig Lowe and US Transit Administrator Peter Rogoff joined together this morning to announce the funding.  WUFT-FM’s Samantha Kerrigan says officials at all levels of government are excited for the opportunities the grant provides.
