UF’s bug man retires
If there’s anything former Entomology professor Carl Barfield loved more than bugs…was his students. Dr. Barfiled taught his last class this summer after 35 years of teaching at the University of Florida. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Mike Biana spoke with Dr. Barfield who reflected on his time here as a teacher and how he’s made students itch and twitch when teaching them about our most common creepy crawlers.
