Food bank faces summer shortage
Marion-Polk Food Share serves the two counties it is named for. As people turn their attention elsewhere during the summer months, the food bank suffers a yearly low point in food donations. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Mike Biana reports how the group’s search for a permanent fix may help solve this problem for good.
