State wide consumer confidence no longer declining

The latest economic numbers from the University of Florida show consumer confidence in the state has stopped falling. The study released today by the Bureau of Economic and Business Research shows that after three months of falling, the decline has stopped. But the survey still finds Florida consumers cautious about the purchase of a big ticket item. WUFT-FM’s Corey Bachman spoke with Survey Director at the University of Florida’s Survey Research Center, Chris McCarty who says most of those surveyed still feel their economic situation compared with a year ago is worse.
