Paying respect to fallen soldier Lamarol Tucker

The body of a Gainesville soldier who died in the line of duty last week in Afghanistan was returned to Gainesville earlier today. Hundreds of people lined the street as the procession moved from Gainesville Regional Airport to Chestnut Funeral Home in Gainesville. Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM’s Alexa Padilla was at the processional and spoke with several people who had come to pay their final respects to Private Lamarol Tucker.
The funeral service for Private Tucker is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Passage Family Church in Gainesville.
